Import video files

- [Instructor] Occasionally, you may already have some video files saved on your Mac that you want to import into an iMovie project. Importing existing files is really easy. For this example, I have a folder called AT videos inside the Exercise Files folder for this course sitting here on my desktop. So to import the footage into iMovie, we can either choose File, Import Media, press Command + I, or click the Import button here to open up the Import Media window again. Now, if you didn't see these options, make sure you have the Media tab selected in the main iMovie window. Then under Devices, you can browse to the location where the files are stored on your Mac. So these files don't have to be stored on your computer. They could be on a flash or thumb drive you have connected to your Mac or on a CD or DVD, if you still have files on those types of disks that you need to work with, but they'll all show up here in the…
