- [Instructor] Now let's take a look at how to create a still image from a frame from one of your clips in iMovie. Occasionally, you might want to create a still image, just so you can draw attention to a particular moment or scene from your footage. And I'm just continuing to work with the same project we started in the previous chapter here. So first identify the frame you want to turn into a still frame, and this can only be done with clips that are in the project timeline, and not in the event browser. If you need to grab a still from a clip that's not in the timeline, first place the clip in your timeline, and after you grab the still frame, you can always then edit the clips so that only the freeze frame portion is used, if that's what you want. So for example, here in my timeline, we have this shot of me leaping over a log, and maybe I want to freeze the moment just as I cross over it. So I'll move the play…
