Join Richard Harrington for an in-depth discussion in this video Setting up iCloud, part of iWork: Workflows and New Features.
…One of the biggest changes in the new…version of iWork is the ability to collaborate.…Now, we had some of this before…but the iCloud integration with iWork is extensive.…Now, iCloud has gone through some ups and downs…and some of you may not be using it yet.…But if you're on the latest version of the Mac operating system or you're using…an iOS 5 or newer device, you do get a basic iCloud membership for free.…If you want additional…storage or a lot higher capacity or…other services with iCloud, you can purchase upgrades.…
But you're going to want to use the basic…version in order to take advantage of collaboration.…Let me show you how to go ahead and setup iCloud on your Mac.…To log into iCloud, simply click the Apple menu, and choose System Preferences.…In the third row, you'll see iCloud. Simply enter your Apple ID.…You already have one if you've created a Mac app store account.…And then, sign in.…You'll be prompted if you'd like to back things up and sync to iCloud.…
I generally choose to do so to keep everything in sync across all my devices.…
