Join Richard Harrington for an in-depth discussion in this video Formatting headers and footers, part of iWork: Workflows and New Features.
…it's now even easier to work with headers and footers on your…document if you have information that you want to repeat across each page.…Here's how the feature works.…As you're working with the document there's…automatically a header and footer on every page.…Clicking inside of it will give you some controls.…For example, I could choose to do things like insert a page number.…And there's a useful style, maybe I want to…count, so as I add additional pages it tells me…the page i'm on as well as any additional pages.…So lets put a break there for a second, Insert page break.…
And you'll see that it updated pretty easily.…I'm going to zoom in here so you could see things…a bit, and so now, it shows me the page…count, 1 of 2, and when I get to the…next page, I have the ability to decide what happens,…so lets click on the header here for a…second, and I need to decide what's going to happen.…I could choose to make a new one, and…it automatically carried things from the previous header over.…And there's the footer as well.…
