Join Richard Harrington for an in-depth discussion in this video Creating documents on a mobile device, part of iWork: Workflows and New Features.
…One of the advantages of the new unified file format…is how easy it is to create documents on the go.…Maybe I just need to put a few thoughts…down into a spreadsheet to put together a rough budget…or I want to take out my iPad Mini at…the coffee shop and start to write into a proposal.…Well, I could do that on the go with my device and it's…very easy to create a new document and store it in the cloud.…To create a new document in the cloud, simply launch the application…that you want to use.…When you tap the plus symbol, you can create a new document.…Doing so will give you the choice of what type of document you want.…
I'll start with the blank document.…You'll note that it updates, if I go back…to my document list, I could see that listed here.…To choose where you store your documents, simply tap the Settings button.…From the list of applications, you could choose the app you want to use.…And then set it to use iCloud to store the documents.…This will go ahead and keep the latest copy in the Cloud for easy access…
