Join Richard Harrington for an in-depth discussion in this video Accessing the App Store on your Mac, part of iWork: Workflows and New Features.
…By now most of you have probably used the Mac…App store to download at least free software in the past.…It's a very useful tool to browse the latest versions of…Apple software as well as many tools from third party developers.…I'll choose App Store to open the Mac App store.…This will take you to the Features tab which shows…you several pieces of software that are currently being featured.…These vary from week to week.…You'll notice…on the right hand side that you can see a…list of different categories, as well as the top paid list.…
The iWork apps usually appear in this list,…and this is an easy way to find them.…But, if they don't, simply use the Search field…to type the name for the application you'd like.…Such as Numbers.…When I do that, it loads the available software.…For example, I have an update available for Numbers, but if you…hadn't purchased this yet, you could click here to trigger the purchase.…This will then download the software or the update to your system.…And install it.…You could track the progress under Updates or Purchases.…
