- If you're a premium member of the lynda.com Online Training Library, you have access to the Exercise Files that are used throughout this title. The Exercise Files are arranged with one folder for each of the different chapters of content that we'll be covering throughout this title. If you go into any folder, you'll find the starting and the finished versions of our Explore California Travel Guide that we'll be creating throughout that chapter. You'll also find all of the individual files that you'll need to complete the lessons in the chapter. In some of the earlier chapters, you'll find additional files for specific movies. Now, before you begin any chapter, be sure to open up that chapter's folder and look to see if you find a Movies and/or Pictures folder. If you find a Movies Folder, open it up and drag all of the files from that folder and place them in the Movies folder for your Home Directory on your computer. If you find a Pictures folder, you'll need to open up iBooks Author, go to the Media window, and then click on the Photos tab. Then drag the Pictures folder into the top portion of that window, that will link all of those images up into iBooks Author so they're ready for you to use. If we click on the Movies tab, you'll see that that video that we just placed in our Movies folder is now available for us to add in. To view the completed book that we'll be creating throughout this training, go to the Chapter 14 Exercise File and look for the EC_14_finished.iba file. So then double-click that file to open it up, and with your iPad connected to your computer, via Dock or Lightning Cable, and then open up the iBooks application, then click the Preview button, and select your iPad. Then click the Preview button. And the book should be loaded onto your iPad for you to explore. If you don't have access to the Exercise File, you can follow along from scratch with your own assets. Let's get started.
