- [Narrator] Before we dive further into creating our book it would be helpful to understand the dynamics between the two view modes of pagination and scroll view for landscape templates both within iBooks Author and on an iPad. Let's have a look at a version of our Explore California travel guide on two separate iPads to better understand these views. This first iPad is showing the pagination view. This is the default view for all iBooks created with a landscape perspective template. Our readers experience our book by swiping left or right to change from page to page in a very natural way that mimics a traditional book. Changing from the pagination view to the scroll view is something that is exclusively controlled by our readers. They touch the screen to bring up the on screen controls and then they touch the view controller in the upper right then turn on scrolling view.
