Creating a new document
- When you open up the iBooks Author application, you're first presented with the Template Chooser to select one of the predefined templates that Apple ships with iBooks Author. To select a template, simply double click on any of the templates on the screen. This will open up a brand new document and it shows you all of the different configurations that Apple has predefined for us. Simply click on the individual pages to jump down between the various different views. Often times, depending on your screen resolution, you may not be able to see all of the document on the main screen. To adjust this, simply go down to the bottom and click the little dropdown menu where you see a 100% and scroll down to the bottom until you find the Fit Page link. This will display the entire page within your screen. Now when you go to the next page, you can still see all of the layouts…
