The project close-out activity
- Upon acceptance of the delivery, the teams will finalize all of their completed delivery phase activities of the assets, archive the information model, and formally close out the project. The client should consider, among other things, which information will be part of the assets information model, and what's the future access and reuse requirements are. The client and all the delivery teams archive the project and capture the lessons learned for the next project. This will allows the client to create a framework for starting the next phase of the project life cycle. During the operational phase, this process will be repeated, driven by planned and unplanned trigger events like remodeling, replacing equipment, fixing a window, and so on.
