- I really hope my advice will serve you in good stead next time you're faced with creative executives who tell you that your project is absolutely perfect and how they want to change everything about it. There's one more tip I've saved for last because it's powerful, and as creative executive Spider-Man said, "With great power comes great responsibility." Creative feedback sessions tend to follow a well-worn path. You sit down, you trade harmless remarks about the weather, the traffic, or a tchotchke on the desk, "Hey, cute stress ball; what is that, a pancreas?" Then the note-giver starts in on your work. There's something to be said for predictability. It tends to make things go smoothly. But if you want to shake things up a little, throw them a curve ball.
