Is there anything I can do about a super-slow computer?

- Computers and humans, we aren't so different. As we get older, it gets harder to juggle multiple things at a time and harder to remember things. When your computer starts to act a little run-down, there are some things you can check. So, is there anything I can do to speed up a slow computer? Your computer may need more memory or it may be running out of hard drive space. These are two completely different things. Memory is a piece of hardware that allows my computer to work on multiple things at once. It's kind of like a convenient work table where your computer's CPU can work with files, photos, and applications like web browsers. The more memory, the more workspace your computer has. The more applications or browser windows you have open at once, the more of that workspace is taken up. So, if you have a lot of applications open, including a lot of web browser tabs, your computer has to be very careful with the workspace and might not be able to access everything as easily as you…
