What is the information management process?
- Information management is different from information production and delivery even though they are closely linked. The ISO 19650 part one summarize information management process around the common data environment process like this. The common data environment process is a chart with project and asset phases on the X axis and quantity of data on the Y axis. So over time as the project is being developed the quantity of data grows. Then before using the common data environment process and start the project and asset management, the client defines the information requirements to potential delivery teams. The client reviews the capability and initial plans for information delivery and confirm the selection of a delivery team.
