Using the Extruded Cut feature
- [Instructor] The Extruded Cut feature is very similar to a regular extrude, except instead of adding material, we're removing it. Now in this example here, I've got a couple different parts and I'm going to go ahead and create a sketch at the end here. And let's go ahead and just create a rectangle. I'm going to use a corner rectangle and let's just drag one down right over here and place it. Alright, so now I can go Features and Extruded Cut is my first option there. Now my first option is go ahead and just cut through anything blindly. Cut through this part. Now if I click on that, it'll automatically cut through this first surface here as well as the surface over here. And it didn't cut through this one here cause it's a little bit high, but it'll cut through basically anything it sees in front of it. And it doesn't really care because it's just blindly cutting. Now if I go back to that feature itself, click on Edit Feature again, instead of Blind, if I choose maybe Through All…
