Skewing objects
- Although you probably won't be skewing objects as often as you'll need to scale or rotate them. It's still worth knowing how skewing works in Ink scape for those times when you need it. And that's what we'll see in this movie. There are two ways to skew in ink scape. One is by dragging and eyeballing it and the other method is by using precise numerical values. First let's look at the dragging method. So with the selector tool I'll click once on this square to select it and then click a second time to see the rotation and skewing handles. The skewing handles are the ones in the middle of each side. As I drag one of the handles, you can see the skewing. I can hold the control key to snap to 15 degree increments, and I can always see the skew angle down at the bottom of the screen, in the status bar.
