Shooting window reflections in a city neighborhood
- Earlier I was working on some reflections, and I was hoping to get some at the Buena Vista Cafe, which is quite a popular place around here, and it's also at the intersection where the cable car stops, so I figured instead of just getting a picture of the cable car like everybody else takes, just taking a reflection of the cable car in the window of the Buena Vista Cafe. So I found a good angle where I wasn't in the reflection. I mean, sometimes that works and it's really fun to have selfies in the reflection, but that wasn't my intention, so I positioned myself in a certain angle so I was not in the shot, the cable cars were, and then I wanted to also include people walking through, or their reflection as well. So there were a lot of elements that had to come together. So not only I had to be aware of the cars that were coming between the cable car and the windows, I had to wait for those cars to be gone.
