Multipass rendering provides the ultimate level of control when compositing. In this video, learn what passes you would need to output based on the materials used in your scene.
- [Instructor] Let's take a look at how we'd set up…a multi-pass render.…It's important to keep in mind the final output…and determine how flexible you need to be in post.…So what I mean by this is whether you need…to isolate objects for color correction,…do you need to add depth of field and motion blur?…How much time to do you have to render the shot?…And are there any ways of speeding up that process?…So in this movie, and indeed this chapter,…we'll look at a few techniques…for adding flexibility to your compositing workflow.…This file has lots of different textures in it…and if you're running into any issues with textures…that are not connected you can reconnect them…using the Texture Manager.…
And to do that go back and watch the movie…on working with the Texture Manager…and then come back here.…To set up a multi-pass render first we need to enable…that object in the Render Settings.…So we'll come over and we'll Edit our Render Settings.…I'm going to check on Multi-Pass,…and from here we can actually add in Multi-Passes.…
