Search in SharePoint
- [Instructor] The easiest way to find something in SharePoint is not to browse, not to poke around and see if you see it but it's to search. If I want to search in a particular site, click the Search box at the top and then before I even type, I haven't touched the keyboard, note that SharePoint is bringing me recent items from News, recent items from Files because the idea is that I've I've opened a file recently, I might want to be opening it again right now. It would tend to return to the same documents over and over again. But if I want to search for something specific, I can enter it and note now that I'm getting some additional results, some files that weren't visible earlier. If one of these is my file, that's great, I can simply click on it. But if I want to see more search results, all I need to do is press Enter right here and I will be taken to a separate search page and this is where the power of…
