- [Instructor] Whenever you open a new document inside of SolidWorks, it's using what we call a template. So you can see here we've got a Part, an Assembly, as well as a Drawing. And each one of those uses a template behind the scenes. They're using the Default template. Now, if you want to use a more advanced template, you can click over here under Advanced, and you can see here we've got several different Template tabs at the top, I can choose the different style of template. Inside of Template, you can store things like the material as well as the colors, the background, and so much more information with that part. So if I go over here to my first one here, which is Templates folder, I can see here I've got a LinkedinPart template, an Assembly template, as well as a Drawing template. If I choose one of those, click on Open, it's going to bring in all the information that's stored with the template. Over here, you can see there is no material to find, but up here under Custom…
