Refining appearances using material options

- [Instructor] Now once you've added lights to a project, it's wise to go through the different light options and material options to actually refine the look of the scene. As you can see in our project, I have four lights, and they're illuminating the scene, but I haven't made any adjustments to any material options to refine the look of the scene. So let's start by selecting layer six, which is my Front Hill layer. If I toggle the Visibility Off and On, you can see that is my front layer. Now if I click on this light right here, that'll select that layer in the timeline, and I want to look at that light's options, so I'll press a + a on my keyboard very quickly to open up the Light Options. So for this specific light, notice it is casting shadows. That's set to On. So let's select layer six, my Front Hill and press a + a to open its material options. So that keyboard shortcut is really helpful when you're setting up light options and material options. Notice Cast Shadows is set to…
