- [Instructor] Proactive creativity is nothing more than thinking and dreaming on your client's behalf. Don't wait for them to contact you, move forward on your inspiration, share your vision with the client and pitch them on the ideas you come up with. So for example, when I started working on the Patriot line of designs, I came up with all kinds of ideas and then once I had it all done, all the final assets were delivered to the client, it kind of hit me one night that, you know what? I hadn't even thought of the Liberty Bell. This is an iconic historical object related to a patriotic theme, and it didn't even come to mind. And so I decided I need to do something with this and show it to them. Maybe they'd be interested, maybe they wouldn't, but it's a good investment of my creative time and it's always good to try something new.
