In this video, author Shaun Bryant demonstrates the positioning of the command line in AutoCAD.
- [Instructor] We're staying in our Interface.dwg file.…And as you can see, I've left it in the same state…as it was at the end of the last video where…we created that line just using the command line input.…Now what I'd like you to do is just zoom out a bit,…roll back on the wheel of your mouse,…and then hold down the wheel of your mouse,…and just pan across to centralize the drawing,…just so that we can see everything in our AutoCAD drawing.…Now what we're going to have a look at now…is positioning our command line.…
Now I mentioned this in the introduction…where you can come down to the command line…which is normally at the bottom of the screen…and click on these little dots here.…Click and hold and drag.…And I can move the command line around.…Now I can move it over to the left, to the right.…I can obviously anchor it there underneath…the file tabs if I want to.…Now be very, very, careful, because what might happen…is when you position it you might drag it up here…and get this nice little sort of ghosty image like so.…
