Ordinate dimensions
- [Instructor] Another extremely useful dimension feature when you're trying to make parts for CNC fabrication or you just have a lot of geometry on the screen and you want to try to reduce the amount of dimensions and the dimension stack up on the screen, you can go to the Ordinate Dimension feature. So if I go up again to where Smart Dimension is located and click on the dropdown, you see that we have three ordinate dimension operations available. So there's regular Ordinate Dimension which kind of goes automatically based on your first two selections choosing which direction it goes in or you can decide ahead of time, I'm going to make a horizontal set of dimensions or a vertical set of dimensions and that can be helpful, especially when you're selecting a circle, for example or a center point as your first reference in the ordinate.
