- [Instructor] There are two types of modern SharePoint sites. This is a team site. At the top of this team site, you'll see a site logo, in this case a green house, the name of the site, Residential Sales, and an indication of whether this site is private or public. If a site is public like this one is, anybody in this SharePoint site collection, anybody in this organization can see this particular site. Whereas if a site is listed as private, only members of that site will be able to view it. On the left hand side, we have an area that is called left hand navigation. It's often referred to as the quick launch because for years, like a dozen years, this area was called the quick launch. And the quick launch is a list of the different applications that are available in this site that someone wanted to list on the quick launch.
