Making gradient adjustments

- [Instructor] Let's take a look at our gradiated tools. I'm going to use the linear gradient here and create a gentle blend from the top, and pull this down across the image. What I want to do is open up the light a little bit at the top like sunlight coming down from the top of the ocean. I'm also going to warm that a little bit with the color temperature to bring out the light, little golden light there on the surface. I like that, it's definitely working. Let's add a little texture as well. Now the challenge there is that it looks great on the subject, but not so great on the water. So we'll refine that in just a moment. Additionally, we can continue to make changes here on the image itself, and I like where that's going. Using a linear gradient or a radial gradient is a great way to create a ramped adjustment through the image itself. However, it's not necessarily perfect because it might apply in areas we don't want.…
