- [Instructor] In this chapter we're going to be diving a little bit deeper into these sketch tools. And in this movie, we're going to be focusing on the Line and Centerline command. Let's go over and click on the Sketch toolbar, click on Sketch. Let's go ahead and start a sketch on the Front Plane. And come up here to the Line Command. If I click on the little twirl down notice I have three different line types. I have a regular Line, a Centerline, as well as a Midpoint line. I'm going to choose that first line. Now we've already looked at using the line command a little bit in previous movies, but I want to focus really on the method for using this command. So the first thing I want to do is use the click-click method so I click once, where I want to start. Notice you get a little heads-up display telling me how long that line is, and then I can drag that out to wherever I want and click again. And notice that command stays active.
