They enter the room full of hopes and dreams before having their idea rejected by a lineup of smug millionaires sitting beside a tantalizing bundle of cash. It can feel a bit like that when you're presenting your ideas to any decision-maker and believe me, I've presented hundreds of ideas in my career, and after crushing and burning more than I'd like, I've learned some ways to increase your chances of selling your idea and I've turned it into a worksheet to help you do that. It's all about preparation. In today's exercise, I want you to take your chosen idea and imagine an important decision-maker. It could be your boss, a potential customer, or a smug TV millionaire if that's your thing.
