- [Instructor] So let's begin. There'll be a bell at the end when we're done and then I'll explain the underlying neurologic rationale for these five suggestions. So take up your seat on a cushion, in a chair, whatever posture works for you and let yourself be balanced, feet on the floor, buttocks against the chair or a cushion. A pose of relaxed and regal dignity. A human being with a right to be here to do this. Let your eyes gently close or perhaps stay slightly open. Your vision soft, let your tongue touch the roof of your mouth. The tip just in the back of your upper teeth as a way to let your inner self relax. Bring your attention to the breath. Movement just outside the nostril above the lip. A swirl in the nostrils. Rise and fall with the chest. Expansion and contraction of the belly.
