Format text using the CONCAT() and TEXTJOIN() functions

- [Instructor] If you have text in two columns that you need to combine into one column, then you'll want to use CONCAT or TEXTJOIN. In this video, we're going to first take a look at Flash Fill, which we'll use to join text together from two columns, giving Excel an example of the end result. We'll then look at CONCAT, which is used to join text without a delimiter, so you can join the two together but there won't be any spaces or anything separating it, such as a comma. We'll then take a look at TEXTJOIN. Now you can use TEXTJOIN to join text together with a delimiter, with a comma and / or a space. Let's jump right into our Join Workbook and take a look at our Customers Worksheet. First I'll show you how you can use Flash Fill to combine information from two or more columns. I'll show Excel the example of how I want the information to be entered. We'll begin by selecting all the cells that we will be using Flash Fill to fill in.
