- [Instructor] A donut chart is great for showing…both the single value for each grouping…and multiple groupings from a report,…and also the grand total from the report itself.…Let's add a donut chart component to an existing dashboard…to provide insights into customer support cases.…So, we're starting at the Home tab,…and we'll go ahead and click on the App Finder,…and we'll click on Dashboards.…From here, I'll select the Company Insights dashboard,…and then I'll edit the dashboard by clicking on…the Edit button here.…Then, we'll click on the Component button,…and we'll go ahead and select the report.…
I have the report right here,…and then we'll click Select.…Now, select the Donut Chart option right here.…Now, we'll change the Slice By option to Case Origin.…We'll change the Sort Row By to the Label Ascending…to alphabetize our right hand legend.…Now, we'll retitle this chart.…We can add an optional subtitle in footer,…and then we'll click Add.…Let's go ahead and drag this chart up,…and we'll put it right next to the Leads by State.…
