- So, I was walkin' around and I saw this little beach thing and it struck me as a good wide angle image 'cause of this, I knew I could really extend this sidewalk and create this big expansive thing. And as I'm shooting this it remind me that the other day a friend told me that she also just got the iPhone 11 Pro and was really loving the ultra wide lens. In fact, that was all she was shooting with and she knew that she needed to try to stop shooting with it so much and I was really glad to hear her say that because it's a very important point. It's really easy to get hooked on a particular focal length and get fixated on it and only shoot that way, particularly wide angle. Wide angle lenses are really seductive because they do create such dramatic lines, they immediately impart a kind of plain scene like this into something with scale and scope and some drama.
