- [Instructor] We can use dashboard filters…to make it a breeze to provide different combinations…of data from a single dashboard.…You won't need to make separate dashboards…for different sets of users, just offer filters.…Each filter has a name, an operator,…and one or more values.…In the latest SalesForce user experience,…you can have up to 50 options for one filter.…And a dashboard can have up to three…separate filters on it.…Let's show how Dashboard Filters work.…We're starting at the Home tab here,…and let's click on the App Finder…on the left-hand side and we'll click on Dashboards.…
From here, we'll click on Company Insights,…which is one of our dashboards.…We'll click Edit to edit the dashboard,…and here we'll see a button to add a filter.…And then I'll type in the word opportunity.…This brings into focus the fields…with opportunity in them.…I want to select Opportunity Owner…because I want to filter by the owner of the opportunity.…We'll add different filters to do that.…We'll use the equals operator,…and then we'll put in names.…
