- Hi there, my name is Michael Kass. I'm the founder of StoryImpact. And I am super excited to be working with CreatorUp on a course called How To Use Stories and Storytelling To Build Your Community. So, what I want to talk about now is crowdfunding. Everybody's doing crowdfunding. It's the sexy thing. Everybody has an Indiegogo campaign or a kickstarter. About half of these generally don't work. They fail. They don't meet their goal. One of the reasons for that is that people's videos, the story they're telling in their campaign isn't connecting with the audience. So, here's the secret. I'm going to give it away for free. Right now, the secret is the only thing that your video and story need to do is get people excited and want to be part of something cool. That's it. That's all it has to do.
