Creating the render setup (light, camera, and top)

- [Instructor] Now that we have our scene geometry imported, we're just going to build the other basic building blocks that we need to take 3D geometry and turn it into a 2D rendered image. So the first piece we need here that's very important is our rendering engine, which is a render top. So I'll hit tab, make sure we're in our top area, and I'll type REN, go to render, and voila. So this is basically our rendering engine, it turns a piece of 3D technology into a 2D image. You can see the geometry is connected because in its geometry field here its got an asterix, meaning a wild card, so it's going to grab anything, but we still need cameras and lights. So let me hit tab, go to components, type CAM, get our camera. So now you can see that we have a camera view and our warning has gone away, but there's no lighting so it's still black. So just for default right now I'm going to hit tab, LI, light under the components area still. Lay down a light, so there we go, it's going to lay…
