- Hi, my name is Bart Van de Wiele and welcome to "Designing Icons Using Adobe Illustrator." In this course, I'll take you through the entire design process. So first we'll start out by learning more about the different icon styles and what the differences are between print and online icons. After that, it's time to launch Illustrator and I'll show you how to properly set up your document and your application. So we'll talk about things like how to customize your own tools, how to properly set up a grid system, and how to use multiple Artboards when designing icons. After that, I'll teach you how to bring in your own custom drawings into Adobe Illustrator and how to use a variety of tools and techniques for creating simple and more complex looking icons. And we'll finish off by showing you how to properly export your icons to print or web using today's market standards. And so with that, I'm hoping that you're as excited as I am for starting to design your own icons using Adobe Illustrator.
