- A while ago here at The Practicing Photographer, Jim Hyde showed up to talk to us about his project scanning his family archive, which is enormous, a lot of photos. You were doing that yourself here in your office on your flatbed scanner, but you had a lot of material you didn't want to handle yourself, and some material you couldn't handle yourself. You were trying to find a solution, you've got one now, I'm dying to hear it. - You've come to the right place. - Okay. - Yeah, I had a lot of slides that, I have a slide scanner, they've only made one slide scanner and whenever someone finishes it, it gets sold on eBay and someone else buys it. - [Ben] Right. - But it's really time consuming to scan slides and do a good job of it.
