In this video, author Shaun Bryant demonstrates how to use the command line and mouse in AutoCAD.
- [Shaun] We're staying in our Workflow.dwg file,…and this time what we're going to do…is we're going to combine…the human interface device workflow…and the keyboard workflow together.…We're going to utilize both of those workflows together…to make us just that little bit more effective in AutoCAD.…So what we're going to do,…we're going to go to the Layout drop-down,…the Layout pull-down here,…and we're going to set our layout to Furniture this time…in the Layers panel on the Home tab on the ribbon.…And what we're going to do,…we're going to draw a polyline…that forms a new piece of furniture in our building.…
Before you do that, though,…I'd like you to make sure that your dynamic input is on…down on your status bar as well, just there.…Now we're going to use dynamic input, we're going to use keyboard,…we're going to use mouse, everything, okay?…And the reason that we do that is that AutoCAD allows us to.…And you should really be utilizing…all of the interface tools that you've got…to make you work that little bit smarter,…
