Circles and arcs
- [Instructor] In this movie, we're going to be covering creating circles and creating arcs inside of the sketch toolbar of SolidWorks. So the first thing I want to do is, of course, start a sketch on one of the planes. So in this case, I got a front plane or a top plane. Let's go ahead and try out that top plane. Start a sketch and come up here to the first circle command, if I click on the twirl, you can see I've got two different methods for creating circles. One's going to be a center-point circle, the other one's going to be a perimeter circle. So the first center-point circle, I can click anywhere I want, where the center to be and then just drag out the diameter to whatever shape. So pretty straightforward and simple that way. If you want to move this around, click on the center point in the middle to drag it around. If you want to change the shape, grab the outside and move it in or move it out to change the shape. If you want to choose a perimeter circle, click on this one…
