(upbeat music) - Once you've decided what you want your workspace to do for you then you can actually scout out the ideal spot. There are two ways to use location for your home office for maximum productivity: one, actually choosing the best spot and two, customizing that spot. Find the location first before you start buying picture frames and plants. There's a method to picking the ideal location. Make your selection based on your highest priority tasks. For instance, I do a lot of video calls for my work as a media trainer. I need good lighting. That's super-important. So even though a different area of my apartment would be a better setup for my desk, I have to use the spot with the best lighting. So make a list of all the locations that will work for your top priority tasks. If you have more than one location, well, lucky you. Keep going back to that list and identify which location is best for the bulk of your work.…
