Bouncing bare flash
- There are a lot of light modifiers out there, ways to shape light, soften light, control light. They're fantastic if you bother to carry them around, but a lot of times you won't have a modifier with you. So, maybe you're in a situation like this. You're in the office, you've been tasked with shooting a headshot of somebody, and all you've got is this. A bare flash. What do you do? If you point the bare flash at someone, you're going to get a really unattractive image. So, Andrew has decided he has to have a headshot right now and we're just in this small office, but look around. What do you see here? You may think, well I see a calendar, and a whiteboard, and another whiteboard. No, you see a reflector over there, and a reflector over there, and a reflector over there. It's fantastic.
