Automation: Use forms to initiate Flows
- [Man] One of the reasons that people historically used InfoPath, was because they wanted to add the ability to launch workflows from their forms. The fact of the matter is that this is now largely unnecessary. First of all, we have Microsoft Flow. Flow replaces the old model of creating workflows with a much more flexible approach, and not only can you do more with Flow, it's much easier to create routines due to the vast library of templates. I'm not going to go too deep here, because this is a whole other subject on its own, but with Flow, basically all you need to do is fill in the blanks. Most of the plumbing is already in place. You can get to a flow directly from your list and share point. Just click the flow icon in the menu and create a new flow from here.
