- [Shaun] Welcome to this AutoCAD Web course. You can utilize AutoCAD Web to draw and edit on a drawing in a browser-based environment and then take that back into your full AutoCAD. You can see that I'm in Autodesk AutoCAD, but I'm in a browser-based environment and I'm gonna take you through how to get the drawing into AutoCAD Web, but also work in AutoCAD Web, developing your drawing and changing and editing details in your drawing using a browser-based environment instead of your desktop AutoCAD environment.
AutoCAD is now completely portable. As long as you've got an internet connection that's reasonably quick, you can start working on your drawing in a browser without having to worry about lugging that AutoCAD desktop with you.
