Adding model views to a drawing

- [Instructor] In this movie, we're going to be looking at adding model views to a drawing. So to get started, let's go ahead and start a brand new drawing based upon this part right here, and the best way to do that is under File, Make Drawing From Part. I'm going to go ahead and use the template from the LinkedIn drawing template, but any template you have is fine, doesn't really matter. Click on OK. Now, over here on the right-hand side, notice we've got a whole bunch different views and we can drag and drop those in, so make sure you kind of choose something that makes the most sense. In this case here, I think Top View would probably make a lot of sense, so just go ahead and drag that in and now we've got that first view. Now sometimes, SOLIDWORKS will automatically turn on the projection tool. If that's the case, anywhere you want to click, you can add a projection. Notice as you click, automatically adds this projection here, but it also allows you to move around your model for…
