Adding custom vignettes

- [Instructor] Let's complete this image using a vignette. To do this, I'll come down to the effects controls. Now, press command or control minus to zoom out. Using the vignette, we can drag to the left to darken the edges, or to the right to brighten. In this case, I'm going to actually go with a positive value here to produce a little bit of fading at the edges. If I twirl down the disclosure triangle here, you'll see additional controls. This includes the ability to create a gentle feather, so instead of a hard edge, you'd have a really soft blend. I'm going to take this back though, for hardness, for a moment, so you can see the other controls. This allows you to adjust the shape of the vignette, as well as if it expands in or out. Let's go with more of a elliptical shape here, with a heavy feather, and I'll adjust the midpoint so it just touches the corners. You see the gentle fade. Now, if you make this vignette…
