Where to learn Zoom basics

- [Instructor] Before diving right into this course, to get the most out of your Zoom calls, I would like to point out that if you're a beginner who's unfamiliar with Zoom, I recommend you first begin with the LinkedIn Learning course Learning Zoom from Instructor Garrick Chow. These are some of the basics that are not covered in this specific course, that Garrick has already covered. How to set up your Zoom account. How to join calls from either a desktop computer or a mobile device. Configuring your basic Zoom camera and microphone settings. How to start a meeting. How to schedule meetings. How to record meetings. Basic in-meeting features and options. How to connect and screen share your external devices. Now, to be clear, there are some features that I will cover in this course that Garrick has already covered, but my lessons will be more from the context of being the leader of your call and understanding the more complex features, as opposed to the basics. If you feel comfortable with all of these skills already, you have a Zoom account set up, and you know how to configure your settings and run basic meetings, then you are ready for this course.
