- [Jean] Hi, I'm Jean Gorospe, and welcome to Product Design for 3D Printing using T-Splines and ZBrush. In this course, we'll learn techniques for creating complex, organic meshes in 3D. We'll use T-Splines in Rhino and ZBrush together in a specific pipeline to design a modern task chair. We'll start by discussing the importance of references images and reviewing our design concept workflow. Next, we'll jump into Rhino to build out the details of the chair model, including the legs, wheels, body, and base.
From there, we'll bring our model into Zbrush to add high-res details. Then, we'll import back into Rhino to use T-Splines to convert the mesh. Once that's done, we'll be ready to export it to the 3D printer software. Our final step is to use our 3D printer to produce our 3D model into our real life prototype. I'm very excited to share these techniques with you to help you enhance your product designs for 3D printing. Let's do this!
