Welcome

- Hi everyone, and welcome to sculpting a creature with Zbrush and Photoshop. I'm Rayce Bird, a Concept Artist, Makeup FX artist and winner of Face Off season two. In this course, I'm going to show you how to develop an original character design and choose the right story and environment to go along with it. Once we have our creature's origins figured out, we'll begin the sketching process. Keeping things loose and organic in DynaMesh, we'll construct our primary forms, then subdivide our sculpture and get the most out of the detailing tools in Zbrush. We'll then apply some paint, textures, and strategic lighting to our monster, render him out and bring him into Photoshop, where we'll add some finishing touches. Now, let's get sculpting.
