- [Instructor] Panel Loops are extremely useful when you want to create multiple separations inside of a mesh to create the illusion of separation or details. So let me demonstrate. So the first thing we're going to do is bring up LightBox with Comma and go and grab the PolySphere right here. So double click on that. And the first thing we're going to do is mask areas inside of that sphere so that we can use polygroups after that and create the panel loops. So the first thing we're going to do is hit Control, so you can see the mask pan here. And while you're holding the Control click on the Stroke here. And you're going to click there and you're going to to have multiple selections. What I want you to select is the DragRect right here, and then go into the Alpha and then select whatever you want. So select a shape you'd like to create polygroups from. So for me I'm going to use the Alpha here and try to create, sort of, a soccer ball. I know it's not going to look like a soccer ball,…
