Before you begin creating your scarecrow, you may want to customize your UI in ZBrush. A custom UI, with your commonly used brushes and tools will help to speed up your production. In this ZBrush sculpting training lesson, your instructor demonstrates how to create and save a customized UI so that you can easily follow along in these tutorials.
- [Instructor] I'm now ready for the next step…in setting up the UI within ZBrush.…I'll also begin importing in my custom brushes…and materials so that I can work with them.…To set up a custom UI, you want to go under preferences,…and under config, turn on enable customize.…I'll also remove the lightbox so it's not in the way.…The first thing you'll notice is the document size…is actually a bit smaller than the canvas…and I want to maximize that, so we'll go to document,…and click on double, that's going…to increase the size of my window.…
I'm also then going to go down to the rate,…and change that setting to zero and that gives me…a nice clean gray background to work with.…Now to bring in some of the brushes…I can go under my brush command, and I could load a brush.…Find whatever brush it is that I'd like…to put into my custom setting.…For example, my stitch brush, I'll select on that,…and say open, and that now opens up my brush.…
But I'm not able to actually…drag it to the window in this state.…I have to do it from either this menu…
