In this ZBrush sculpting training lesson, Michael Ingrassia demonstrates how to polish your newly created rope belt before you can add it to your scarecrow model. You will learn the best approach for using DynaMesh and ZRemesher to repair the seams in the rope, fill in the gaps, and smooth it out.
- [Narrator] Okay so now I'm ready to go the next step which…is locking all of this information in.…I'm going to back out of my model.…And what I want to do is remove the sphere.…The easiest way to do that is to simply hold down…Control and tap on my window.…That's going to reverse the mask.…Now I'll scroll down to my View...…Visibility.…
And I'll turn on Hide Point.…That hides the mask, or the sphere,…now I want to remove it completely.…Let me get rid of my Brush Menu because…I no longer need that.…And now I want to go under Geometry,…Modify Topology, and Delete Hidden.…Once I do that, you'll notice in the sub tool,…we're no longer showing the sphere.…
So now we just have rope.…There's just one problem with this,…this rope still has seams.…So if I was to increase the geometry for example,…I'll just divide this up.…You'll notice that our seams are expanding,…and that's not the effect we want.…So I'm going to back that up,…and lets just make a few changes here.…So now, I'm actually going to be working with the Dynamesh…
